We finished this year with some encouraging ministry and made some big decisions regarding the future of Captivated International. Carla and I are devoting more and more of our time and energy to this ministry and are excited to expand our capacity to inspire and equip people to pursue God’s best for their lives.

Here are a few highlights from the end of 2021:

Tower of Prayer – October 2021

We hosted our second Tower of Prayer in October with a focus on the Person of Jesus. Each hour, our prayers focused on a different aspect of Jesus’s glory, such as Jesus’ compassion; Jesus’ peace; Jesus as our Healer; Jesus as the Bread of Life, etc. For each of these facets of Jesus’ character and glory, we provided two related Scriptures verses for participants to meditate on as they prayed.

We had 54 people from 13 different countries coming together in prayer for this event. As this global prayer initiative continues to grow, we look forward to including more people and more countries. For learn more about the Tower of Prayer, click here.

San Antonio – October 2021

We had the blessing of visiting Three Streams Church in San Antonio, TX—a church we had already done some teaching and training with through Zoom. On this trip, we had a chance to teach on Knowing God’s Voice once more but also shared some teaching on friendship with the Holy Spirit and what it means to be filled with the Holy Spirit. On Sunday morning, I had the privilege of preaching on the topic of Perseverance, something many of us need in this season.  Click here to listen.

Austria – November 2021

We had the privilege of sharing our Knowing God’s Voice teaching with several college students in Austria through Zoom. One of our Board members, Daniela Kerekes, helped to organize this event with a friend of hers who works for Campus Crusade’s Austria branch (which is called Shine). What a blessing to pour into the younger generation in Europe! We were very encouraged by their sincere interest in growing in their relationship with Jesus and serving Him.
