I spent two weeks in October traveling to Qatar, Singapore and Nepal.  What an adventure and what amazing people I had the honor and privilege of meeting and ministering to.  Although I was with familiar friends in each place, it was my first time in each of these countries. We had another opportunity to pour into some bright and passionate students at Team Leadership College International (TLCI) based in southern India (September 2-5).  Carla and I (Clay) taught a group of about 57 eager young students through Zoom for about two hours each day. Students attend TLCI from every state in India and go through a four year program of ministry and leadership training, which includes assistance with room and board.  Many of the students have been rejected by their family and kicked out of their homes due to their profession of faith in Jesus.  Several of them will go into full time [...]

On Saturday, August 31, Captivated organized a ministry team of nine people, including three translators, to minister to twenty-four individuals in Brazil through Zoom.  This might seem like a small number but the impact on their lives was significant and well worth the investment of everyone's time.  The blessing was not just experienced by those receiving words of encouragement from the Lord, but those serving as well. Our aim in this offering was to bring encouragement, inspiration, and comfort to the children of God through the spiritual gift of prophecy. Carla was hosted by EPC Rovinj church from April 24-29.  Ministry began Thursday evening with Carla sharing a message entitled: Jesus Is in the Storm, reflecting on the account of Mark 4:35-41.  Carla spoke briefly about our son, Davi, his organ transplants, and what our family went through during that time, both the painful and the miraculous.  She went on to explain how we often put our faith in what we know best from experience (for the disciples, storms they’d experienced as fishermen), rather than placing our trust in Jesus.  Coming to know Him better than anything or anyone else is central to this [...]

We hosted our sixth Tower of Prayer in February, focusing in prayer on the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.  You will find more information below about our heart for this particular Tower of Prayer. We had 37 people from 12 different countries coming together in prayer for this event.  As this global prayer initiative continues to grow, we look forward to including more people and more countries. Pastor Goran and friends in Pula for training at EPC Church What a delight to return to Croatia and spend time working once again with an incredible group of believers at EPC church in Rovinj. Pastor Francisco and his wife Celani Just had a wonderful time of ministry and fellowship with some beautiful brothers and sisters in Costa Rica.  I connected with Pastor Francisco and his son Andrés about 4 years ago at a conference and have stayed in touch.  We have been talking about organizing a visit for over a year and finally worked things out.  It was a pleasure teaching and preaching at their church: Trinity Methodist Church (La Trinidad Iglesia Metodista) in Quesada, which is in the county of San Carlos, north of San Jose. It was great to be back in Pawleys Island, SC again and have an opportunity to present Knowing God’s Voice at the church where I served as an assistant pastor for nearly 7 years.  All Saints Church cohosted this event with another local church: The Abbey.  Carla and I presented KGV to a very engaged and interested crowd of about 90 people Friday night and 80 people Saturday morning. I spent two days this June with a small, but truly devoted group of brothers and sisters in Christ at Bridport Church in Bridport, Vermont.  Saturday morning, I presented a condensed version of Knowing God’s Voice and was delighted by people’s receptivity and feedback.  Several people commented on how they wished they had this kind of training much earlier in their walk with Jesus.  I know I wish I had, which is one of the reasons why we are so passionate about sharing this!  Throughout this weekend conference, I enjoyed getting to know people’s stories and when prompted, sharing a word of encouragement as the [...]

I first heard about what was going on at Asbury University a few days after it started on Facebook.   At that time, I honestly didn't think too much about it.  Then I got a couple messages from friends asking if I had heard what was going on there.  As I began reading about what people were experiencing, the Holy Spirit began squeezing my heart and stirring up a deep desire to go.  I cancelled a few things on my schedule, and drove 8 hours down to Wilmore, KY not knowing what to expect.   Well, it ended up being quite an adventure.
