On Saturday, August 31, Captivated organized a ministry team of nine people, including three translators, to minister to twenty-four individuals in Brazil through Zoom.  This might seem like a small number but the impact on their lives was significant and well worth the investment of everyone’s time.  The blessing was not just experienced by those receiving words of encouragement from the Lord, but those serving as well.

Our aim in this offering was to bring encouragement, inspiration, and comfort to the children of God through the spiritual gift of prophecy. In 1 Corinthians 14.3-4, Paul indicates that prophecy is intended to people build up spiritually.  Our ministry team sought the Lord’s heart and mind toward our guests and blessed them with words of life from Him during their 20-minute session.  As the apostle Paul exhorted, we also encouraged people to test these words.

I have no words to describe it. The prayer ministry was tremendous, supernatural and a blessing, glory to God! I felt very moved because I really felt the presence of God during this ministry time through Zoom. God definitely revealed to the two men who prayed for me hidden and profound things I only knew. They even prayed for a back problem that God revealed to them. It was wonderful!

After the prayer we had, I realized that by talking more to God, thanking Him more, God has already shown me paths that I need to seek and understand. I ask and talk to Him and He brings me the answers that I need. I found it surreal!! I always have God in my heart and after praying with you I felt more welcomed by God in search of the answers that I am looking for because I am going through a time of redefining and understanding some things that I am going through in life and gradually understanding my past more and thus a better understanding to follow my path, my future and understand who I am.
